Phantom Actual, LLC has the capability to do design and manufacturing, whether it be prototype or production.  This inherently makes the product development cycle shorter.   For example, this enables us to design a component, manufacture a prototype, test, and if necessary, iterate, before a typical design team could have the initial prototype made.  It also, lowers costs, as the overhead of out-sourcing and logistics are minimized.
Having the ability to manufacture production components has advantages as well.  The “learning curve” of manufacturing a prototype to a high volume part is reduced.  The critical features of the product are known, thus minimizing quality issues and defects.  As a designer and manufacturer, design for manufacture is of key importance, thus reducing part cost and improving quality.
